We are a family-run and owned free house, trading since Easter 2024.
We worked hard to renovate the premises with the help of countless friends, family and local folk, to whom we will be forever grateful, to create a friendly, relaxed eating and drinking experience here at the Railway.
We’ve created a menu of healthy delicious dishes made from fresh ingredients from local Welsh suppliers, and specialise in home made casseroles, pies and salads prepared here in our newly refurbished kitchen. We have no deep fat fryers, so don’t expect the usual pub grub, instead we offer bowls of garlic & herb roasties as a side dish or accompaniment to your meal.
We serve a great selection of beers, wines and spirits and regularly change our cask ales. We pride ourselves in including many unusual ales from independent breweries. We also welcome those who choose non-alcoholic drinks with a variety of soft and low alcohol beverages.
We love dogs, and they are welcome everywhere but the carpeted inglenook room, but if your pooch is noisy or bad tempered you may be asked to sit outside.
The Railway Inn is a very special place within our little community, and we want everyone to feel welcome here. If you’re not entirely happy with the service we provide – please let us know so we can do better.
